Keinny is a Counseling Intern and a Master’s student in Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling in Schools and Communities at The Pennsylvania State University. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in General Psychology from James Madison University. Keinny is passionate about helping others overcome life’s challenges and improve their mental well-being. She has a deep interest in trauma recovery, family issues, couples counseling, and multicultural counseling. Keinny uses a person-centered approach as well as CBT and solution-focused techniques. She is committed to developing the skills and knowledge necessary to provide compassionate, culturally-competent care. In her free time, Keinny enjoys playing piano and spending time with her friends. A fun fact about Keinny is that she used to coach figure skating lessons as a certified U.S. Figure Skating Coach.
