Matt Ishler is a Licensed Professional Counselor helping adults and couples navigate life’s challenges. After earning his M.Ed. in Counselor Education from Penn State University in 2001, Matt developed expertise in person-centered, emotionally focused, and existential therapies. His areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship issues, and stress management. Matt’s approach is collaborative, strength-based, and trauma-informed, prioritizing the client’s needs and goals while creating a safe space for healing. He is warm, supportive, and adaptive to his clients’ needs. When not working, Matt enjoys live music events, reading, community service, and athletics.
